About NO REST CLUB

I’m John, an artist based in Brussels with a story that changed everything.
I grew up tagging walls, became an architect, then survived the 2016 Brussels terror attacks: three weeks in a coma, 13 surgeries, five months in a hospital bed.

I had to relearn how to walk, talk, and draw. Architecture didn’t feel right anymore, so I turned to tattooing: raw, direct, no filters. You can find my work on instagram @joretapo.tattoo.

No Rest Club was born out of that same energy. PTSD made sleep a stranger. Most nights, I’m up sketching in the dark, gripping every second I’m awake because I know the lights can go out at any time.

This brand is built on urgency, instinct, and grit. Fueled by hip hop, jazz, comics, manga, tattoo art, and graffiti, I create organic tees and accessories for people who move through chaos and keep creating.

No Rest Club isn’t just a name : it’s how we live.
